Playa Paraiso has an English-speaking caretaker on-site who will be happy to answer any questions you have about the area and will help you book all of your excursions and activities, including fishing, golfing, tours of Mayan ruins, snorkeling and diving trips. He can also arrange transportation to and from the airport and can stock the house with whatever you wish – wine, cheese, fresh fruit – before your arrival. The caretaker can also put you in contact with a private chef who will come to your vacation house and prepare gourmet meals while you kick back with a margarita on the balcony. The private chef charges $22/hour plus the cost of food.

Our little neighborhood is flanked on either side by two beautiful resorts, Mayan Palace and Iberostar Paraiso. Guests at Playa Paraiso have full access to all amenities at Mayan Palace, three huge interconnected swimming pools, a large Jacuzzi, swim up pool bars, and tennis courts. There are also restaurants and spa services at the resort. Iberostar is an all-inclusive resort (like a cruise on land) but our guests can purchase a $50 day pass that allows them to spend a day at the resort and eat and drink however much they want. Iberostar features a wave pool, a lazy river pool, and kids and adults pools. There is also a health club and spa, a dive center, and an ice cream parlor. Iberostar also has a private golf course, and we can offer you up to a 50% discount when we book your tee time for you.
